Ultrafiltration or UF is a pressure driven membrane separation process that separates particulate matter from soluble components in the carrier fluid (such as water). UF membranes typically have pore sizes in the range of 0.01 - 0.10 ┬Ám and have a high removal capability for bacteria and most viruses, colloids and silt (SDI). The smaller the nominal pore size, the higher the removal capability. Most materials that are used in UF are polymeric and are naturally hydrophobic.

Features

Simple process flow, easy operation and management
Small size, simple structure and low investment charge
The separation process does not occur phase-transition, Consume energy few
The range of application is wide, the molecular weight of the solute is 1000-500.00 Daulton or the solute size about 0.005-0.1um,all can use the Ultra-filtration technology.
